Anthony Calamunci is CEO and Managing Member of Johnny’s Lunch Franchise, LLC. Mr. Calamunci is a practicing corporate attorney and Partner with the national law firm of Roetzel & Andress and is head of their Toledo Ohio office.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Calamunci has extensive restaurant experience. More than 20 years of experience in the quick service restaurant business in the Johnny’s Lunch Model and more than 8 years experience as a part owner of the Avenue Bistro Restaurant in Toledo Ohio, a four star fine dining establishment. Mr. Calamunci was recently nominated for one of the 20 under 40 awards, and has received the prestigious “Super Lawyer Rising Star” award in 2006 and 2007 as one of Ohio’s best lawyers.
Mr. Calamunci holds a undergraduate degree from Alfred University in New York and his J.D. from Ohio Northern University.
John Calamunci is Vice President of Construction and Store Design. Mr. Calamunci has over 25 years of restaurant, fast food service and management experience. He has extensive experience in operations and operational systems for fast food operations.
Mr. Calamunci was trained by the original Johnny himself and will pass along the insight and operational experience he gained throughout his extensive tenure with the Johnny’s brand.
Mr. Calamunci has been a Civic Leader and has held an elected position on Jamestown, New York’s City Council and after two terms was unanimously elected to the office of City Council President.
Charles Cross is Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Cross brings with him 20 plus years of experience in the food and beverage business. He has held executive and management positions at Price Waterhouse, Westinghouse Electric, and PepsiCo Inc. He has been a Chief Financial Officer, over the last 15 years, in fast growth entrepreneur companies with eight of these years being in the food and beverage industry.
Rob Elliott is Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Elliott has managed two advertising agencies, Bozell Worldwide Advertising (FCB) and Elliott Adworks. At Bozell Worldwide/Detroit-Diversified his clients included Hush Puppies, Shop Vac, Valassis, Meritor, Federal Mogul, Consumers Energy and Air Touch. As President at Elliott Adworks, he provided marketing leadership to several exciting brands including Nick-N-Willy’s, Zoup!, Johnny’s Lunch, Papa Romano’s Pizza, Quiznos, and Mr. Pita.
Mr. Elliott has also held corporate senior marketing positions with Little Caesars, Quizno’s Corporation and Papa Murphy’s. He was instrumental in developing and growing Little Caesars from 50-5000 stores, Quizno’s Subs from 200-2000 stores, and Papa Murphy’s Take’n’Bake Pizza’s turn around. During his leadership at Little Caesars, the advertising was voted best campaign in America by consumers as reported by Wall Street Journal and Video Storyboards.
Mr. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University.
George Goulson is President and Chief Development Officer. Mr. Goulson was the Executive Vice President of Franchise Development for the A&W Restaurant Chain, part of Yorkshire Global Restaurants, Inc. and owner of A&W and Long John Silver Restaurants, which is now merged with Yum Restaurants.
During his career with A&W Restaurant Chain, Mr. Goulson was named Senior Vice President in February of 1995 and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 1999 and continued on until September 30, 2002. Prior to his employment with A&W, Mr. Goulson served as Head of Franchise Non-traditional Development for Little Caesar Enterprises. He held the positions of Executive Director and Vice President during the years of 1985 to 1995. From the period of October 2002 to date, Mr. Goulson has been managing his personal portfolio and family interests as well as consulting and advising several major companies on franchise development.
Rebecca Hetrick is Vice President, Human Resources and Administration. Ms. Hetrick has over 16 years in human resources and management. She has held executive positions with Calphalon Corporation, Newell Rubbermaid and First Solar. Ms. Hetrick has been part of a team responsible for opening sales offices, a manufacturing facility in Mexico and Culinary Centers in Chicago and Toronto.
Ms. Hetrick also was part of the executive team that was responsible for setting strategic initiatives and the business strategy for numerous divisions, such as Anchoring Hocking Glass Divison, Mirro/Wearever Division, Calphalon Division, European Cookware Division, and Panex.
Ms. Hetrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from University of Findlay.
John Orton is Vice President of Real Estate Site Selection. Mr. Orton has held positions with Pitney Bowes MapInfo, Thompson Associates, The Coopers and Lybrand Consulting Group of Toronto, Ontario, and the Canada Post Corporation of Ottawa, Ontario. His most recent position was with Pitney Bowes MapInfo as its North American Practice Leader in the Restaurant area.
Mr. Orton has project management experience with brands such as Domino’s Pizza, Marco’s Pizza, Hooters, Yum! Brands, Burger King, Wendy’s, Steak n Shake, Brinker International, Dunkin’ Brands and many more.
Mr. Orton holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts in Applied Geography
from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto.
